To be fair both of the afore mentioned D’s have caused me to do the D in the title on more than one occasion.  I thought I would do some thing I little different today..

Take my hand and lead me to the dancefloor

It doesn’t matter what dance we do,

A whimsical, whirling waltz

Or a raunchy, racy rumba.

A flighty, flirty foxtrot.

Or sizzling, sexy samba

As long as we dance to the same beat

The tempo does not matter.

A tempestuous, tawdry, tango

Or a quaint, quirky quickstep

Or a steamy, sensual salsa

Just keep the music going

All night long

Day 29- A song currently stuck in your head

I have all sorts of things stuck in my mind at the minute but not any songs so I had to think about which songs have stuck in my head over the last few weeks and I came up with these two, again they show the randomness of my music choices I have to say I love the first and when I do hear it not only does it get stuck in my head but requires lots of self control not to dance along

This is actually the easiest so far one is the one I would actually have have which is….

but this is the one I would have if (sorry hun) my other half could dance and would have lessons to learn to do my favourite dance.

Day 13 – A song you sing to in the shower

Hmmm now this is a tough one as I don’t sing in the shower, in fact I prefer a nice soak in the bath instead and anyone who has heard my singing knows that I only sing when the music is belting out full blast for a reason. I guess if I were to sing in the shower it would be to something I could dance about to at the same time so lets have a think about this – so many possibilities.

This second one was not a favourite when it came out but it has grown on me since

Day 09 – A song that makes you want to dance

Again so many to choose from and do they mean sway or leap round like a lunatic?  I guess I will have to pick the first one as I love listening to this woman as I get ready for a night out with the girls, she always gets in party mode without me doing to much damage to my eye with the mascara wand – dancing while applying make up bad idea…. (gentlemen if you don’t like the music just look at the shorts we will forgive you)

Now the next one I really wish I still had the energy to do it justice lets just say I have bounced round a few dancefloors to this in my time.

Day 07 – A song that is your guilty pleasure

Ohhh guilty pleasures – can think of lots but they are not generally musical lol okay so I guess it has to be cheesy music so the first one comes from the group who made the first real album I ever got (real as opposed to Disney soundtracks)

The second is not really so guilty well I don’t think so but it was a time in her career where she took a lot of criticism but I love this song

And just to amuse you I will prove wearing your bra in public was common at the time…

Me And Mine · So it's Saturday

So its Saturday….

And I am at work.  Later on I shall be indulging in one of the few pleasures of Saturday night tv yes I shall be watching Strictly come dancing.  I went to a few salsa lessons a few years ago and let me tell you it is hard work actually such hard work the friend I went with decided she didn’t want to keep it up.  I have a date for my op I shall be going in for surgery 31st October, yes on halloween I shall be ending up like frankensteins monster for real or should I say my back will.  Maybe after the surgery and recovery I can find a salsa class as part of my getting fit again but I doubt I will be able to wriggle aswell due to the scaffolding I shall leave you with a couple of clips from Strictly to get you in the weekend spirit.
