I very rarely look at my Stats now, when I first started like so many others I would check them daily looking for vindication for taking up your time by expecting you to stop by and read. As confidence grows you start to realise that it is the quality of those who visit not the number of followers that count, who hasn’t visited a site with thousands of followers yet noticed you are the only one clicking like! But there is stil one aspect of Stats that does fascinate me, no not search terms though of course they are hilarious and I love the fact if you type in Chappy Chopper to google search my dungeon post is top of the list, but what actually never fails to make me smile is the location statistics. I love the fact that okay they may have only visited once but to know that a person in Peru has heard my name in relation to writing rather than playing games on Facebook amazes me, there are countries where they read me that I never would have expected, and let me say I appreciate every single one of you no matter if you live down the road or across an ocean but the fact a few years ago this would never have been possible fascinates me.
It would be great to think that one day I could colour all the map in not just with people who visit my blogs but with people who I can visit theirs and build up a bond with people all around the world.

I don’t look at my stats much either anymore, since I get too worried about minor fluctuations and wondering why. I am a geography buff though, so I like the location tracker. My map looks similar to yours (what’s up with Belarus?) except I have a friend in Mongolia. And yes, it’s my goal to someday get them mostly all filled in, especially China and Greenland. 🙂 By the way, I like that you have views from all the British dependencies, even Guernsey.

I have found quality is much more important than quantity. There are people I know that read, but don’t necessarily visit my site. It is nice to know that someone is stopping by though.

I didn’t even know I had stats until recently. I knew someone had been to my site if they commented and didn’t look further.. I’m very sure I’m not covering the world in the very impressive way you are though. When you talk of wanting to bond with the world it looks like you have a head start on the rest of us. xx Hugs xx

I wouldn’t be so sure I bet you will be surprised when you take a look, hope Ju is holding her own, have you planned another riding trip yet?

I find the map fascinating too. I always wonder what the person in some far off land thought of my post.

I forget to look at the stats – but it IS fascinating to see how small the world is, when we post from, say, CA, and see that someone from England and Japan read it a few hours later. How cool is that?

Greetings and salutations from Ohio. Do I only count as one of the 8,732, because, if not, I might be 1,000 of those. 😉 Wonderful numbers, Paula. Would you believe until you posted this, I had no idea I could see these stats? This was new to me tonight. And I am so excited to see India in my top five! I’m trying to work my way into the Bollywood community. 🙂

I really want to try my hand at writing a screenplay. 🙂 I also think it would be funny to do a completely “out there” type of book with Susan and her cast of characters – into space, time travel, or something as silly as having her travel to India to try and have a movie made about her life because it has been so “interesting.” Sometimes my brain makes me tired.
