For those not following my fb or twitter just a quick note to say thankyou for your kind thoughts and messages and I am now home and recovering.  The surgery went well and it would seem the fact morphine made me sick meant that I cut back on pain relief quicker than expected to a point which meant I could come home yesterday.  I still have a way to go and will leave my scheduled posts to run fir a few more days but at least I can sit up and read a few of your posts to entertain myself.  Must continue to take things slowly and have managed to not have a cig since before the op so am pleased on that score as well.
