This week I have decided to talk about what I have been reading as obviously I’m not pumping out enough books to talk about them each week. Saying that next week there will be something… But for now let’s talk reading!
So, I am behind on this year’s challenge but to be fair there are a couple of other books I read that I don’t think added automatically to Goodreads. The two books shown were both spicy romances but with what I would consider low to medium spice levels, both were good to read, easy to pick up and read without worrying about losing my place or the plot. Either would be a good beach read.
I am currently reading a book that has started out a little darker, Broken Sparrow By Chelle Bliss, which I am almost half way through in one sitting. I plan on alternating here in Book Talk between what I am reading and what I have written so I will be able to tell you if it ends as well as it has started.
I am hoping to get my podcast Coffee & Dark Reads going again either this week or next week, so I will talk more books there too, I am hoping to persuade some friends to join me and to discuss things such as trigger warnings and which taboos can we not read. I have always said while I am up for a little domination, the whole Daddy thing really freaks me out. I don’t know if that is just because of the relationship I have with my own dad or if the fact my dad is/was podgy and ginger plays a part of it too lol.
Anyway I shall be back later in the week to talk about what I am working on.
