Well November ended with me having a mixed night at the Christmas works do and on the 1st of December I sat at the computer uploading photos when I noticed it was not charging up, wired were waggled, fuses checked but I could do nothing more than watch as the life slipped away from my computer, it was dead.  Well actually it was only the charger which had technically died but a few weeks of waiting occupied the rest of the month until a new one arrived just before Christmas.

Other than a few posts already scheduled the year ended with a whimper rather than a bang.

Those of you who follow me on Twitter also know there were a few rather strange tweets leading to people being concerned for me but what had actually happened was my ex (the monster dad) had fallen and broken his femur at the top of the bone, right up at the ball it for the hip socket, then when they tried to get him up after the op he collapsed.  As you can imagine this caused and avalanche of emotions both for me and on behalf of my son, just because you have walked away from someone does not mean you have totally stopped caring.  Has the accident changed things? No not really, it may in time depending on whether certain things discussed since happen but if not I know I end the year feeling a lot better about myself than I have for a long time.
