Not A Book Review

for those of you who have followed me for a while you will know normally Monday is book review time and despite the fact I have two sat waiting on my desk to be reviewed I am breaking my own rules.  there is a reason but I’m not telling, well not till Wednesday as I want to explain in more depth then so instead I shall accept my final blog award.

As much as I love these it becomes increasingly difficult to not only fit them in with all the required links but also to think of things to tell you that you do not already know but before I close the door on accepting awards I am totally honoured to accept this one. It has been created by Seumas Gallacher and you can read his initial post here. 

I was awarded this award by the wonderful Lord David Prosser and you can read his blog here if you have not had the pleasure.

So first of all I get this pretty trophy to parade around my blog…

  1. I read the two posts you linked and am better for having done so. I have seen Lord David all over your posts…his support of you knows no bounds…but this was the first time I’d visited his page and I’m glad I did. He’s a very interesting fellow 🙂 You truly are a Champion’s Champion, my queen, and it humbles me to think you’d consider me one of yours. I say yes yes yes to the fact that we’ve become so much more than blogging buddies…you are a friend I’d stand in front of a double decker for! However, as to the award…it’s been a long stretch since I’ve written anything and while I am always there in support of those I love, I feel silently invisible in our little blogosphere at the moment. So…what I will do is thank you now, from the bottom of my heart, and tell you if I were to pass on this very worth award, one person I’d be passing it to would be you. So consider yourself on another list of champions…and again, I thank you most sincerely….xoxo R

    1. Rhonda, I would normally not interfere in a decision like this but I read that you haven’t written anything for a while. I haven’t written anything for years now except the blog. The award isn’t just for writers but for those we think have made a difference with their encouragement of others. My Dear Paula thinks you worthy and I trust her judgement………….
