Rhonda’s quite right, you’re being silly. I may have spent a time in Lancashire (It was Cheshire till they changed the boundaries) but I still think your accent is a delight.
You’ll notice how many adverts use people with certain accents which are considered warm and friendly, and very few of others which are not.Yours is fine so even when you meet your Facebook friends in London they’ll have been charmed by the accent as well as the lovely personality that accompanies it. I’m sure you’d be a hit reading your own stories as you know just where to place any emphasis.
