Slight delay this month as I wanted to try out one of the products for slightly longer, so we were back to the plain pink bx this month which is always a slight disappointment after a special one and I had mixed feelings as always when I opened the box… (I also need to point out I lost the card so I had to search for the prices so they may not all be correct)
So first up…
Zerreau Beauty Towel Off Shampoo Foam
I received the 70ml version of this the full size version is £9.95 for 180ml which makes it a lot more pricey than dry shampoos, sadly there is nothing positive I can say about this except I am glad I had not specifically bought it. I did think at first maybe it was not working because of the length of my hair so I tried it on the monster, still a huge fail. If you imagine you have washed your hair, lathered up the shampoo and started rinsing when the water shut off then that is exactly how both our hair felt. I will not be buying this and I will stick to my dry shampoo for between washes.
Next up…
Etre Belle Aloe Vera Moisturizing Gel
I received the full size 40ml product worth £16.15 and I have to confess I had a little bit of trouble really trying it out properly. The product is designed to be used after sun, well you can guess the issue there, however in an attempt to test its soothing qualities I tried it out on my eye brows after I had plucked them and I have to say it was very good. Whether it is worth the money is harder to say and I might not be able to judge that until the sun puts in an appearance. A little goes a long way but at the price I would probably only use it on my face or badly effected areas and stick to a normal after sun with Aloe for the rest of me.
It has not been the best start so on to the next item….
SASS Intimate Perfect Skin Concentrate
I received the 30ml trial size, full size 100ml retails at £12, now I had a little bit of trouble testing this simply because ingrowing hairs, which this is designed to protect from is not an issue I really suffer from, the other part preventing regrowth I have been able to test to an extent but I feel it will need longer testing to really see a difference. I am holding off judgement on this because it could be worth the money in the long term if the results continue to go the way they are as it did seem to slow/reduce regrowth but a few weeks is just not long enough to judge.

Philosophy Renewed hope in a jar
I was really hoping to be blown away by this the full size of 60ml costs £35 which would be a lot cheaper than the one I fell in love with last month and I have to say I do like this one but it does not feel quite as good as the other however the price is more realistic and I may very well be tempted to give this a go for a longer period and see how I feel about it then before splashing out on the more expensive one.
Final item for this week and I saved the best till last…
MeMeMe Enchanted Eyes Dual Ended Eye Wand
I got the Midnight Storm combination costing £6.95 but when I looked on their site there are 3 other colour options all of which were sold out and that does not surprise me as I love this. You might have noticed me wearing this in last weeks vlog but if not here you go I put on the more cobalt shade on the top…
and added the darker shade underneath…
I would say worn like this is more of an evening look but there is nothing to stop it being toned down and worn during the day.
Now just one thing I want to add, because I had to go searching for the products to get the prices my google searches brought up numerous Ebay listings which leads me to point out if you ever see a product you want to try yourself but you don’t want to buy a box then that may be a good way to do it, though bare in mind you have no way of knowing if the products have been tried out or not. I am guessing lots of those selling them at prices closer to the RRP with buy now options are beauty bloggers who get the boxes for free to promote and end up with more products than they could ever need, some may be people who just get the box open it up and don’t like the colour of something, I would suggest checking out the other items they are selling to decide why they are selling and if you feel comfortable buying.
That eye pencil suits you Paula
