First apologies yet again for going quiet but as you will see have been busy editing videos. Second has anyone else ended up on the blue screen to write a new post I don’t like it and want my normal one back.
This weekend saw our first event with our new work charity partner, this year the Huddersfield Down Syndrome Support Group get our support and a great day was had by all but you don’t have to take my word for it watch the video I shall post at the end of this post.
I also got to collect my T-Shirts that were my reward for pledging as part of a Kickstarter to save one of our local shops, I was guilty of one of the greatest crimes effecting small businesses, apathy, I always assumed the shop would be there, I would see something I liked but put it off for the next payday, luckily our shop was saved and hopefully we have all learnt that very important lesson “Use it or Lose it!” For my Tees I got one Doctor Who one and another which I designed from the Charity Anthology cover…
And yes I know after a weekend in a bag I should have ironed them before taking the pictures lol
A quiet week this week for me playing catch up with writing and house work before getting excited for the athletics next week!

Huddersfield always sounds such fun when you write about it. Years ago we only heard of it because of the ‘Smash’ Martians, though thinking about it, I’d have come up for them too.

and I forgot to mention the food festival although I have to confess I was not as impressed by it this year, it was more aimed at people eating and drinking there and then than stalls selling things to take home, although I did discover treacle cheddar does not taste as nice as it sounds interesting.

Never been to Huddersfield, passed nearby a few times, but must stop off, you make it sound an enjoyable place to visit. I like Dr Who T shirt..

I was just saying to someone else that I was having problems with the new editor, It wont let me upload photos. I have to keep going back to the old one. We are trying to catch up with the last Doctor Who season before the new one hits. I am very much looking forward to it yay for the Doctor.

I know my hair grows like crazy October 2012 I cut nearly all of it off and had more or less a pixie cut, donating two 10 inch plaits to a charity that makes wigs for children with cancer and now in under two years it is even longer but I can see me getting bored and chopping loads off again soon lol 😀

That’s amazing you did that for charity, such a kind heart. Good for you. I have longer hair than I used, which is why I update my profile picture not so long ago. I love my hair that way. I always wanted long hair as a kid, but my mum wouldn’t let me. Thankfully, I can do what I was born to do now and life the way I want to.

Love the shirts. Statement shirts involving games, series, books, those are the best. Take them over any old store-bought shirt any day. 😛
