Day 14: List three memorable moments of adulthood

Again one that would seem easy yet I fear will prove otherwise lol

Number One – No contest having my children.  They arrived in totally different ways Samantha was early and resulted in an emergency C-section Jack was a more awkward pregnancy but full term and an easy birth but they are the two most precious things in my life.

Number Two – this also relates to my kids or should I say more specifically Jack.  It is memorable for all the wrong reasons as it was my worst nightmare when my little baby contracted Meningitis and we came so close to losing him.  Though parts of that time are a blur other parts are so clear which I described in another post On My Knees.

Number Three – I am thinking I may as well stay on the kids theme here so the final one will be my daughter being accepted to University and next year will be altered to my daughter graduating University, though it makes you feel old it is amazing to watch that little girl who looked to you for all the answers grow in confidence and belief and show the rest of the world what you always knew she was capable of.

  1. Easy enough to see what the focus of your life is Paula.
Mmmm. three memorable moments of adulthood. My Number 1 would have to be meeting and marrying Ju. which can be read about on my blog

Number 2 is Ju’s passing which may be memorable for all the wrong reasons but the impact on my life cant be understated.
Number 3 I can’t give yet since it doesn’t happen until August ( I hope) but will be the birth of my grandson whom I know will influence my life greatly.
I’m so glad Jack got over his meningitis safely Paula and is home with you where he belongs. I look forward to the proud Mum’s Blog when Samantha graduates. It’s amazing there seems so little time between babyhood and these great events in their lives.

    1. it does seem like the other half doesn’t get a look in lol but the reality is that we were friends for a long time before we got together so there really wasn’t one moment that sticks out
