Day 7: Make up a language, what would it be called, who would speak it, where do they live?
I guess this one in some ways is quite easy the language I create would be for the land where my novel is set however naming and describing it is a different matter. I guess I could use the golden age theme and call it Arcadian, it would be a mix somewhere between Elvish, Latin and Italian all three are incredibly musical languages and evoke a feeling of love and peace when spoken softly. All the characters in my novel would speak it though I would have two dialects one softer for the court and lands of Jacantha and a slightly harder version to be spoken in the court of Wend Y Mawr.
I feel everyone’s imagination is so much better than mine. i have so many good examples to aspire to…

The Clickers, who live in a deeply forested area in an as-yet unexplored area in the middle of Australia. They are tiny, well-formed people, elf-like, and communicate through the clicks of their tongue, a high and sweet note, but definitive also. The men and women wear long curly hair down to their waist and flowing silky fabrics of the forest – green and violet. Sweet-natured, they never ever want to be discovered.
